Don Gay (8-Time World Champion Bull Rider), Frontier Rodeo Company, and United Bucking Bull Inc. are teaming up to bring a complete bull riding experience to Salina, KS. The 2^nd Annual Don Gay Championship Bull Riding is bucking into Salina, KS on March 16-17, 2012 for a weekend filled with rank bulls, high scores and big wrecks.  The 2^nd Annual Don Gay Championship Bull Riding will begin at 7:30 p.m. nightly at the Saline County Livestock Expo Ag Hall .This event is being produced by one of the nations largest and most well-known rodeo producers, Frontier Rodeo, owned and operated by Jerry Nelson.  Frontier is the current recipient of the PRCA‘s Bareback Horse of the Year and the Saddle Bronc Horse of the Year awards.  Jerry Nelson is the only stock contractor in the history of the PRCA to receive awards for two Bucking Horses in the same year.

The 2^nd Annual Don Gay Championship Bull Riding will showcase some of the most promising athletes in bull riding today as they face-off against the most famous animal athletes in the business. In addition, a “Stick Horse  Bull Riding” will be hosted for children ages 0-7.  This event will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 17^th, 2012 in the Saline County Livestock & Expo Center Ag Hall.   Entry fees are $7.00 and children may enter when they arrive.  Buckles and trophies will be awarded to the top scorers in each age group (0-4 and 5-7).
